On What’s Side is Larry Grant’s Bread Buttered?

Posted by Adam Graham on October 17, 2006

Right Mind highlights Larry Grant’s sources of funding including nearly $24,000 from ACT Blue.

He notes:

Yea, now there’s a moderate PAC for you — Act Blue? They work with Daily Kos and True Majority.

No moderates there. If you want to know what kind of representative someone will be, look at the PACs behind him.

Yes, elect Grant if you want Boss Kos to get a red state Congressman.

Thanks for the Reminder

Posted by Adam Graham on October 17, 2006

This was posted by the blogger alleging that Senator Craig (R-Id.) was a homosexual to show Craig denying involvement in the ’80s page scandal (because Craig had heard rumors he was being implicated. Silly him, he heard he was being implicated in a scandal and wanted the public to have the record set straight.) More relevant in the wake of the Mark Foley Scandal is the tawdry scandal that the FBI found. Congressional offices and employees under the auspices of the Democratic house.

Important to remember as Democrats waive the bloody shirt of the Foley scandal in an effort to take control of Congress as we’re urged to go back to the good old days of Drug Dealing on Capitol Hill.

On the Craig Matter

Posted by Adam Graham on October 17, 2006

Being from Idaho, as the entire blogosphere is abuzz about the allegation that Senator Larry Craig is a homosexual or bi-sexual. Senator Craig’s office responded:

Senator Craig’s office flatly rejected the claims. “The Senator says this story is absolutely ridiculous – almost laughable,” said press secretary Sid Smith. “It has no basis in fact.”

Now, let’s understand what Mr. Roger’s evidence is:

On the show I have called on Senator Larry Craig to end his years of hypocrisy by leveling with Idahoans about who he really is. I am also calling upon several prominent Idaho social conservative leaders to ask them how they square their anti-gay positions with their support for this leader.

I have done extensive research into this case, including trips to the Pacific Northwest to meet with men who have say they have physical relations with the Senator. I have also met with a man here in Washington, D.C., who says the same — and that these incidents occurred in the bathrooms of Union Station. None of these men know each other, or knew that I was talking to others.

At this point, there really IS no evidence other than the word of Mike Rogers. Because Mr. Rogers has interviewed several men, none of them willing to come on camera. None of them willing to talk about it. So, it’s all left up to Mr. Rogers who has had a mixed record in his efforts to “prove” people homosexual.

Senator Craig has had his say until we have actual evidence, I’ll believe the Senator over a political activist. I should point out that if the left wing blogosphere were so adamant about convicting people on allegations, Bill Clinton would have been declared a murderer long ago based on the amount of research, etc. done.
