Don Surber reports that Lee Greenwood will be doing a concert at Disney World at the 4th of July that will feature 1000 new legal immigrants taking the citizenship oath. Don writes:
And God bless those legal immigrants. They went through the paperwork. They studied hard. Many had to learn a new language. They showed a commitment to a nation that most of us take for granted.
The naturalized citizen is often the most patriotic and the most loyal to America — the person who cherishes our freedoms because in many cases, that person knew fewer freedoms in his native land.
This issue is fundamentally about the rule of law, not a hatred of Hispanics or immigrants in general as extremists on the other other side allege.

Boise has a new talk radio station that’s promising an innovative (albeit still secret) schedule. I”m half curious whether they have any local talk spots available, but I doubt I’d be that fortunate. Who knows? They may do “progressive talk.” Or just a bunch of non-political talk radio. It’ll be interesting to find out what they have in store.

Truth and Hope Report Show Notes
Wow, what a great day for America.
Amnesty died for this Congress, though our Senator, Larry Craig did his darnedst to shove it through. The House overwhelmingly slapped down the fairness doctrine. And to top it all off, the Supreme Court ruled against forced busing and solving racism with more racism. (Hat Tip: Wizbang Politics) Join us on the Truth and Hope Report as we celebrate what went right and take a lesson from our victory.

I did an interview with Robert Elmer, who talked about his new book, Like Always. He talks about reaction to the book, his inspiration for a great life affirming novel, and the writing life.

We’ve got everything here on the WordPress.com blog ready to go and upload over to the new Adam’s Blog at the old URL. Andrea has been doing some diligent testing and found an issue on our server. As of 6:57 A.M. they are looking into it. No resolution as of yet. We’ll keep you posted.

A frustrating evening, blogging wise that hit it’s depth when the computer needed to reboot and wouldn’t go past the red screen. Finally, got it booted up, but unfortunately, the blasted thing won’t post my podcast.
Thank God, I was able to fix the computer. Dust on the side panel is what shut it down. Unfortunately, some nights things won’t cooperate. This is one of those nights. At the same time, a problem with an error on my server looms over being able to get the blog transfer done tomorrow. It’s safe to say there won’t be a morning podcast because if I don’t have the previous evening’s podcast posted, there’s really not a point in trying to do aother.
