Change to Comments

Posted by Adam Graham on January 30, 2007

Dear Readers,

I have good news. Registration as a requirement to comment has come to end on Adam’s blog. The original reason for requiring registration to comment was to insure that spammers couldn’t send thousands of unsolicited advertisements through comments (I already have enough coming through trackbacks, thanks.)

Now, to post a comment (unless you’re a registered user) you must type a brief series of letters displayed in readable True Type Fonts. It’s very, very, very important that you get it right the first time. Otherwise, your comment could theoretically be lost.

Hopefully, this new system will properly balance the need for me to protect the blog and its readers from spam with the ability to receive feedback. Thanks for your patience everybody.
